Zetus Lapetus, by The Quilty Architect, is named after the phrase “Zetus Lapetus”, an expression from a 90s movie that partially takes place in space. The phrase seems to be used to express surprise and joy. The combination of space and joy is the perfect fit as the name for this spiral-galaxy-like pattern. The pattern comes in 3 color options across 5 sizes and uses traditional piecing.

New pattern: Due North

Kate from Due North Handmade @duenorthhandmade has just uploaded a second pattern to QuiltInk, the Due North #quilt #pattern. A modern, easy and fast pattern you can’t miss!

 
The #duenorthquilt pattern is inspired in the northward journey of the migrating birds as one of the first true signs of spring. It is written for three quilt sizes, a baby, throw and  bed.  It’s a confident beginner and lends itself really well to a scrap buster pattern. It is also fat quarter friendly. Using pre-cut 2½” fabric rolls is also a great way to change the block colors to mix and match for a unique and fun design.
