Designer Profile Features
Check below all the features QuiltInk is offering to designers and make sure not to miss any of them. Maximize your usage of QuiltInk to provide the best digital color service to your customers.
1. Upload patterns in Illustrator, Inkscape, or PDF files: Easily upload your patterns in vector formats like Illustrator or Inkscape files, or in PDF format. If you can’t provide vector graphics, no worries! QuiltInk can create the diagrams for you, saving you extra work.
2. You can upload patterns with any quilting technique: QuiltInk supports a wide range of quilting techniques, including traditional piecing, curve piecing, templates, foundation paper piecing, english paper piecing, appliqué, and improv patterns. The technique used in your pattern will not be a limitation when uploading coloring sheets to QuiltInk.
3. No limit on the number of diagrams you can upload: QuiltInk allows you to upload as many diagrams as needed for each pattern. There are no restrictions on the number of diagrams you can include. So, you can upload all sizes and layouts of your pattern, providing flexibility in showcasing various versions of your design.
4. Create unlimited custom palettes and upload unlimited printed fabrics: QuiltInk offers designers the ability to create an unlimited number of custom palettes and upload an unlimited number of printed fabrics. As a fabric designer, you also have the option to make your custom palettes public, allowing all QuiltInk users to access and use your fabrics to color and plan their projects.
5. Different levels of privacy for your patterns to cover all your needs: QuiltInk offers different levels of privacy for your patterns, allowing you to customize the accessibility of your designs based on your preferences. It’s important to familiarize yourself with these pattern levels to provide a range of possibilities to your community and customers.
a) Public pattrns. These patterns are displayed on the main QuiltInk page, and any QuiltInk user can access and color them directly from the public main page.
b) Community patterns: These patterns are limited to a specific group of users, such as subscribers to a designer’s community. Only users with a designated code can access these patterns from the Designer Profile page. Users don’t need to have an account to color these patterns, and anyone can visit and view them on the Designer Profile page. Community Patterns have a private Wall, which can only be seen by the individuals who have access to it.
c) Private Rooms: Private Rooms are exclusive spaces for selected users. Only QuiltInk users with an account can be included by the designer in a Private Room. Patterns within a Private Room have a private Wall, which can only be seen by the individuals who have access to it.
6. Embed your patterns into your website and obtain direct links to each of your patterns. This feature allows you to make the coloring service more accessible to your customers by integrating it directly into your website. By embedding the patterns, visitors to your website can easily access and color your designs without needing to navigate to a separate platform. They can also see all the mock-ups made by other users for this pattern in an excusive Wall. The direct links provide a convenient way for users to engage with your patterns and enhance their overall experience on your website.
7. Your business highlighted in differetn QuiltInk sections plus a public profile page with your patterns, mock-ups and info, As a Designer in QuitlInk, you will be listed on the info page alongside the other designers. Your public patterns are visible on the public Patterns page in QuiltInk, and your community patterns are listed in yous public profile page. Your profile page will include a badge indicating you are one of the designers in QuiltInk, and special tabs with all your patterns, mock-ups and any additional information you would like to provide.
8. Remember to fill in the information about your business on your public profile page. This includes adding a photo, description, and external links. Additionally, make sure to provide detailed information for each pattern, including a description, photos, and a link to your shopping website where customers can purchase the pattern. By completing these details, you enhance your visibility on the QuiltInk platform and provide potential customers with valuable information about your business. The more information they have, the better it is for your business.
9. We offer assistance in promoting your business by featuring the activation of any pattern in the QuiltInk News section, our YouTube Channel, and on Instagram. We create engaging videos, reels, or images showcasing various color layouts and the coloring process to help you promote pattern releases, quilt-alongs (QALs), or any special events you want to highlight. So, let us know when you want we post about you and your patterns in QuiltInk and we include you in our agenda!
