Title: Cabin Star Quilt

Technique: Traditional piecing, No Y seams

Do you like the Lone Star Quilts? And the Log Cabin block? Then you can’t miss the new amazing pattern in QuiltInk!! The Cabin Star Quilt pattern just released by Lindlee from Plains and Pine.

This design combines the Log Cabin block with the classic Lone Star Quilt. There are 2 color options in the quilt pattern, as well as an option to make a scrappy version with fabrics from your stash. Includes instructions for six sizes: Wall Hanging, Baby, Lap, Throw, Twin, and Full. The skill level in the pattern is Advanced Beginner. It requires cutting and sewing on a bias and sewing with a consistent 1/4″ seam. Unlike most Lone Star Quilts, there are no Y seams in this quilt pattern.

The name was inspired by the aerial view and colours of the cover design, which evoke a fountain adorned by sculptural elements.
