The Astra Quilt pattern is inspired by the rare conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. Sawtooth star is the center piece and Katie’s favorite block. Astra means to the stars.

Whistle Stop is an advanced beginner, traditionally pieced pattern. The design is a fresh take on the Railroad Crossing block that uses repeating shapes to create a striking effect. The design comes in both a 9 block layout (throw size) and a 1 block layout (cushion, baby, and throw sizes).

Designed by Heather of @gladhand_sews, this pattern is a quick and easy #modernquilt. Follow Your Path can be made using yardage or 10” square precuts (a.k.a. layer cakes). It’s also a great scrap project. The design combines disappearing 9-patch blocks and disappearing HSTs. The magic is all in the cutting.

 

 

This quilt uses traditional piecing. It’s suitable for Confident Beginners. The pattern has two sizes: Throw and Queen, both available as coloring pages on QuiltInk.
