Static Age is a fun lightning bolt pattern inspired by rock and roll. It is constructed with regular machine piecing and comes in two different layout options. The Tossed layout can be made in two sizes: 54″x 56″ or 81″x 84″. The Reflected layout can be made in two sizes: 40″x 45″ or 60″x 67″. It’s suitable for confident beginners to advanced quilters. The Whistle Stop extension pattern is a new twist on the original Whistle Stop quilt :). This traditionally pieced pattern is offered as a standalone pattern or in combination with the original Whistle Stop quilt to make a generously sized 70″ throw. This pattern is based on the railroad crossing block and lends itself so well to colour play – enjoy!

New Pattern: Springtide Sample

New designer in QuiltInk! Rhonda from Prime Time Quilt Co with the Springtide Sampler #quiltpattern. We are always happy to welcome new designer so go headed to her profile and show her a lot of love!

 

12 quilt pattern designers from different time zones, countries and continents joined together last fall to create a 12 block sampler quilt that is at a skill level for beginners but appropriate for any quilter to create.  Each designer has created one block, using fabrics from a pallette of six different Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids.  Quilt shops sponsoring the QAL and creating kits that enable quilters to re-create the pattern cover hale from the UK, Canada and the United States.  It isn’t too late to sign up and its FREE to join.  ou can do that here:  https://view.flodesk.com/pages/63c5d911ecc678190062587e.  The QAL runs from February 10, 2023 to March 17, 2023.  When you have signed up, beginning February 10, you will receive two block patterns each week and on the last week, you will receive all the details for the quilt block setting design.  Be sure to follow these quilters on Instagram to stay up to date with information and for opportunities to win prizes for block completion.

After 2 years, and to celebrate the QuiltInk birthday, we want to announce the big great new options coming to QuiltInk!!

 
Most of them have been very demanded by designers and users, and seeing the growth of QuiltInk during the last months we have decided to go on with them all!!
 
We wanted to launch them today, but life happens….. So instead of that, we will be picking 5-10 testers that want to help us test the new QuiltInk and give feedback about it. 
 
If you want to be one of the testers visit our Instagram account (@quilt_ink) and:
1. Comment below letting us know which profile would you like to test: Supporter Users or Fabric Shops,

Ida Jean is a block-based pattern that was inspired by and named after my Grandma Jean. She’s the one that introduced me to the world of quilting and taught me how to quilt. The pattern includes 3 sizes, baby, throw, and twin, plus an alternate layout. It uses strip piecing for construction which makes this pattern so fast to put together and would make a great weekend project or last-minute gift!
