Nina from Alps and Ocean Quilts released 2 days ago her first pattern, the Orion #quilt and we are really excited she has placed it on QuiltInk so you can plan your version in a digital, fun and quick way. The #orionquilt is inspired by the Orion constellation located on the celestial equator. It comes in 3 sizes, Baby, Throw, and Queen, it’s appropriate for intermediate  or advanced beginners. It is constructed on point and is Fat Quarter-friendly in Baby and Throw size, the Queen size can only be made using yardage.

Exciting news! We have a new designer in QuiltInk! She is Tara from Taralee Quiltery and she is expecting to upload all her patterns in QuiltInk. Stay tuned to not miss any of them!
 
The first pattern is the Cameos, a unique design that showcases your favorite fabrics. It’s an Intermediate #quiltpattern that comes in 2 sizes,  Throw 60×69, and Bed 80×92 and 2 versions, FQ and Double. The FQ version is a great way to feature a FQ that you don’t want to slice up at all. It can also be used to feature any other cool block, applique work, t-shirt, or photograph printed onto fabric. It has so many possibilities!
 
Tara has also made public 4 printed fabrics palettes to offer you more color possibilities! Check them at the Shop/Designers palettes!

QuiltInk Challenge Dec23

Are you ready for some coloring fun? … It comes with a prize!

We are starting a monthly challenge in QuiltInk. It will consist of we are going to create or choose a palette in our platform to encourage you to color with it and enjoy all together the #mock-ups created with this palette in our #quiltinkwall during this month. And maybe you get the perfect color choice for your next #quilting project!
The first monthly challenge will be themed by the Christmas season. And what more classical than a palette full of reds and greens? But we wanted to add a different touch too, so for this Challenge you can choose between 3 different palettes. Get ready to start coloring!
How to participate:
1. Access to www.quiltink.com, sign in or create your free account.
2. Choose one of the patterns we host in the main page.
3. Color the pattern with the palette/palettes of this challenge.
4. Share your mock-ups on our #quiltinkwall
5. Share your mock-ups on IG creating a post or in your stories making sure to mention @quilt_ink and tag #QuiltInkChallengeDec23
6. Add a comment in this post indicating your Quiltink username, the pattern you used and mention the designer
 
On January 1rst we will pick a mock-up randomly chosen between all the comments in this post and we will check that it meets all requirements. The winner will get an annual subscription to our Supporter Gold Plan, which means you will be able to upload unlimited printed fabrics to your custom palettes and upload 3 private patterns to our platform.
