Sizes: 1

It’s time to welcome a new designer in QuiltInk!  She is Ellene from Brave Nouvelle, who is releasing today her first #quiltpattern Le Cirque. Check Ellen’s profile to know more about the pattern and support her as a nouvelle designer!

#lecirquequilt , French for “The Circus”, is a 34″ x 34″ wall hanging that has a vintage Parisian feel, and creates an optical illusion due to the concentric circle design.  It comes together by sewing 4 identical quadrants together, and can have different optical effects depending on the color palette chosen.  The slight curves present a unique challenge for the intermediate quilter, but can be achieved with careful piecing.  Most of the points are offset with ease of piecing in mind.

#WaterfallsQuilt is a contemporary quilt design that uses simple squares and long rectangles with quarter circle curves to create the waterfall design. This pattern is written for the advanced beginner and beyond.

#WhirlpoolsTableRunner is an interpretation of how different waters come together and swirl within themselves before mixing into one. Sometimes it takes a little bit of turbulence to grow and my hope is that you are reminded of this while working on and gazing at this design. Written for the confident beginner and above, Whirlpools is precut and scrap friendly and the scraps from Waterfalls are sufficient for the feature fabrics in Whirlpools.
