Terms and Conditions

  1. Designers are allowed to upload to QuiltInk only their own patterns. They can’t place patterns made by other Designers. In case of a pattern collaboration, other designers can be added to the pattern title and description.
  2. QuiltInk reserves the right to remove any pattern that violates copyright or other intellectual property laws.
  3. Patterns submitted to QuiltInk are not immediately available for coloring in the app. After receiving the files from the designer, the QuiltInk team will work on them to create the necessary files with features that are compatible with the app. The processing time may vary from a few hours to 1-2 days depending on the complexity of the pattern, as well as the number of sizes and layouts uploaded. The QuiltInk team will be in contact with the Designer to provide updates.
  4. When one pattern has been on QuitlInk for more than one year, it can be disabled and replaced for a new pattern. Designers can have enabled in QuiltInk the number of patterns established by the plan subscribed.
  5. During 5-day free trial period, all subscription features are available except for public announcements of uploaded fabrics. When the trial period reaches the end, the paid period chosen will start. During the Trial period the Designer will be able to upload the number of patterns established in the Plan chosen, but only one pattern and one size will be prepared by QuiltInk so the Designer can test the QuiltInk features and see if it suits their expectations. When the trial plan finishes and the subscription is not cancelled, the other patterns will be worked on by QuiltInk team.
  6. To complete the subscription process, Designers are required to provide necessary data and payment information. This data will be kept secure and will not be shared with any third parties except Stripe, which manages subscriptions and payments. Email addresses may be used by QuiltInk to send informational emails and to communicate about service-related matters.
  7. If you are from the European Union, and have an European VAT number you won’t pay the VAT (IVA).
  8. The Designer can upgrade/downgrade or cancel the subscription at any moment at the «My Plan» section in “person” icon at the top bar of the profile page. The upgrade/downgrade will be automatically applied. Early cancellation does not result in a refund of fees paid. A subscription cancellation will be effective at the end of the period already paid.
  9. If a subscription is wanted to be downgraded, and your number of patterns exceeds the number of patterns the new plan allows you, you will need to disable some of your patterns.
  10. The disabletation of patterns from a downgrade or cancellation of a subscription means that QuitlInk users can’t color the pattern, but the skeletons and all your color layouts will be saved in QuiltInk, so in the future they can be activated again by subscribing to a new plan or upgrading the current plan active. QuiltInk users will be able to see the mockups in their profile pages and export them, but not edit the coloring.
  11. If a subscription is cancelled, the Designer account won’t be reverted to a basic user account automatically, they will keep the Designer status, but with any of the subscription features active. They will keep receiving the emails with information for all the Designers about any news. The “My Plans” section will remain visible to access their billing history. If any Designer wants its account to be reverted to a basic user account, they need to make the petition sending an email to info@quiltink.com
  12. If Stripe is unable to process a payment, QuiltInk will contact the Designer to resolve the issue. Failure to respond or resolve the issue may result in manual cancellation of the subscription.
  13. If a Designer violates QuiltInk’s policies (e.g. uploading fabrics with offensive messages, spreading negative messages about QuiltInk, taking actions against QuiltInk, or engaging in any other inappropriate behavior), QuiltInk reserves the right to cancel their subscription and remove their Designer status and user account.
  14. QuiltInk may adjust subscription fees over time in accordance with the IMF’s yearly world average price increases. Designers will be notified of any fee changes by email and any changes will not affect ongoing subscription periods.
  15. QuiltInk may change these terms and conditions at any time and will notify Designers via email of any changes.
